The West area by the Workers’ Stadium has restaurants, bars and clubs including: Vics, Mix, Lava Lounge, Alfa and the Outback Steakhouse. The Central area is home to one of Beijing’s largest and most popular discos: Rock and Roll (Gun Shi) which plays techno and house music, and is tucked away behind the Comfort Inn. The Den is a smaller disco and bar near the City Hotel, and Power House is known for its live bands. Success offers Chinese floor shows.

The Sanlitun Entertainment District, popular with expats, tourists and affluent Chinese, is a large area north of the Workers’ Stadium with a wide variety of bars, clubs and other entertainment. The closest subway station is Dong Si Shi Tiao station 12 minutes walk away.
